New account with Sky Medical to develop and manufacture Geko, a device for preventing DVT. In 2014 the development of a mark II device started and this went into production in 2015.

New account with Quanta Fluid Solutions to work on a long term project to develop a system for home care dialysis. Installation of Cleanroom 3 along with the purchase of a 300-ton moulding machine.
Flow Sensors for Neonatal Ventilation
Contract signed with SLE to manufacture Flow Sensors. Europlaz overcomes the challenge of developing a process to weld 13-micron diameter wires onto tiny contact pins.
Helping Customer Solve Quality Issues
Tap Biosystems approaches us with major quality issues they were experiencing with their supplier of Tube Sets. A guarantee is given that we can overcome these issues and the business is relocated to Europlaz. Also the year of our first FDA registered device.
Tivatek Infusion Sets Proprietary Product Range
Ownership taken of the Tivatek (Total Intravenous Anaesthesia) Sets. Kits designed to suit a wide variety of surgical procedures including ICU applications and day case surgery.
Producing Speculums for Treating Cervical Cancer
Dysis Medical are having tools built in China. The tools are shipped to Europlaz and its discovered they are not fit for purpose. A new tool is built in the UK and production of speculums begins.
Purchase of Additional Space
Purchase of an additional 30,000 sq. ft. of warehouse and office space. During 2016 a major project began refurbishing the warehouse in unit 10 and constructing a new boardroom and office facilities.
Developing a Breath Activated Inhalation Device
Developing a breath activated inhalation device including the production of 30,000 units and sourcing specialised assembly equipment. CE approval obtained in 2018 alongside a similar non-medical device.
