Tooling & Production of 96-Well Plates

96 well plates

New account with Porvair Services for the tooling and production of 96-well plates. These are rectangular multi-well plates for use in Labs to test assays such as ELISA and PCR.

2000

Helping Customer Solve Quality Issues

New account with Fresenius-Kabi to supply Spike components. Their original supplier was having quality issues with leaking filters. Europlaz provides a solution to this problem.

Supplying 39 Million Minims Per Year

New contract with Chauvin Pharmaceuticals to supply 39 million Minims per year. Minims is a two part system for dispensing Phenylephrine Hydrochloride eye drops.

2001

Solving Tooling Issues for a Customer

Fresenius-Kabi request a quote for moulding Inner Caps, Outer Caps and Breakrings from existing tools. Following an inspection of these tools they are relocated to Europlaz, issues are fixed and manufacturing begins.

2002

Generating Technical Files for CE Marking for Tube Sets

Fresenius-Kabi are not happy with their supplier of Tube Sets and agree to move this business to Europlaz. Work begins installing Cleanroom 2 and generating the technical files for CE Marking. Manufacturing beings early 2003.

ISO 13485 & CE Certification

ISO 13485 accreditation

ISO 13485 and CE Certification obtained for Medical Devices – Class I Sterile.

Producing Components for use in Orthopaedic Surgery

New account with Depuy International to produce components for use in Orthopaedic Surgery. Depuy have several tools with different suppliers and are looking to consolidate with one supplier.  Transfer of tools to Europlaz.

CE Certification Upgraded & Acquisition of A&H Plastics

CE Certification

CE Certification upgraded to include Class IIa Medical Devices and acquisition of A&H Plastics, a Kent based company offering trade moulding. All work is relocated to Europlaz.

Acquisition of Synergy

Acquisition of Synergy

Acquisition of Synergy, a company based in Nottingham, who specialise in producing medical devices in cleanrooms.

Helping Customer with Reshoring of Tools back to the UK

manufacturing moved from China to UK

Mobilis Healthcare moved the manufacture of parts for a number of their devices from the UK to China. This resulted in major quality and supply issues. A second set of tools were relocated to Europlaz.
