CSB Moulds Forms

CSB Moulds

In a small back unit near Kings Cross Tube Station, CSB Moulds forms. A precision toolmaking company.  

1970

Developing Tooling & Moulding Processes of Actuators

Allen & Hanbury

CSB Moulds develops tooling and the moulding process of Actuators for Allen & Hanbury (now taken over by Glaxo Laboratories).

1976

CSB Moulds Moves Location

Southminster

CSB Moulds moves to Southminster, Essex and welcomes clients including GSK, Fisons and AstraZeneca. The company operates 24/7 producing 53 million Actuators per year.

1978

Printing for a Cosmetic Brand

Printing operation undertaken by Europlaz circa 1978 / 1985.  The part being printed is a cosmetic makeup compact for Helena Rubinstein.

1980

Moulding

Moulding operation from the early 1980s. Before our first cleanroom was installed, this is how inhalers and other medical products were produced by Europlaz.

1983

Quality Control

1984

Injection Moulding for a Radio Control System

A 350 Ton Sandretto injection moulding machine from the 1980s. The parts being moulded are casings for a radio control system.

1987

First Cleanroom Opens

Installation of the first ISO Class 7 Cleanroom which is certified to ISO 14644 for airborne particulate.

1988

Manufacturing Inhalers for GSK and Fisons

Inhalers

Europlaz’s Cleanroom 1 circa 1988/1990. Main production was manufacturing inhalers for GSK and Fisons, producing 53 million components per year, 24/7. Featuring automated systems for checking the functions of the inhalers, each part was 100% tested.

1996

Introducing Europlaz

Eddie O’Keeffe acquires CSB Moulds and takes the decision to change its name to Europlaz Technologies Ltd.
